403093 Longleaf Traditional Kukri Blade These original battle kukri blades were made prior to 1890. Some were made much earlier, but its difficult to determine the exact date. Each kukri is hand made; the steel was smelted, forged, shaped and hammered in Nepal by individual Kamis. These have all seen service with both the Nepali military and the British Army. There is no telling the courageous action each has seen. Sometimes when issued to cerain regiments those regiments would have the blade iscribed or an individual would do so. This was an inconsistant practice and some will show markings and others will not, but all are of the same period and issued/used. Either way you get a legendary blade! Blade only without the handle or scabbard.
