He is exposed to all the firepower the enemy can shoot at him. The infantryman must often attack at night to reduce that vulnerability and improve his chances for survival and success. The Combat Night Fighter Fixed Blade Knife is the blade you want to have in a combat situation whether during the day or at night. The reason it is such an exceptional piece for night combat is due to the blade having a satin finish. Not only does it protect the blade in all types of weather but the finish has been darkened just enough to reduce glare. The drop point blade is constructed out of thick carbon steel, exactly 5mm thick. The handle is made of rubberized ABS making this a great all weather knife. Included is a hard ABS sheath with a nylon beltloop with a steel snap closure. The sheath also has several eyelets and slits to tie or strap the sheath onto your thigh. Night attacks by infantry can save lives and accomplish the mission at minimal cost.
