Produced in several forms and many calibers from 1872 to 1940, with final production totaling about 350,000 pieces. Called "Peacemaker" and "Frontier Six -Shooter". Famous figures like Buffalo Bill Cody, Wild Bill Hickok, Pat Garret and Bat Masterson depended on it. Heavily favored by the late 1800s western settlers.
This nickel-finished non-firing version has a functional lock mechanism, revolving cylinder, and working ejector system. Also available in black and pewter.
