Allan Pinkerton opened his first detective agency office in the 1850s, working with Law Enforcement nationwide to help arrest criminals. By 1855 he was specializing in protecting railroad shipments for several mid-western railways. in 1870, he and his agents became legendary during their relentless pursuit of Jesse James, the Younger Gang, the Dalton Brothers, and Butch Cassidys Wild Bunch.
This replica metal badge is hand made and aged to be accurate to the originals with a heavy pin back for attaching to the thick clothing of the era. Each is properly dished and deeply engraved.
